Machining Solutions

At Straits Orthopaedics, our Machining Solutions are powered by a vast and strategically managed fleet designed to deliver precision, scalability, and speed.  With over 165 milling machines, 175 Swiss turn machines, and 18 dedicated finishing lines, Straits is equipped to meet the complex and high-volume demands of the Orthopaedic Industry.

Our commitment to operational readiness is reinforced by a proactive capacity expansion strategy—when any production line exceeds 80% utilization over a 3-month period, a CAPEX investment is automatically triggered to add additional equipment.  This ensures we maintain critical capacity surplus, enabling our customers to respond rapidly to market shifts and demand spikes without compromising lead time, quality, or delivery performance.
