At Straits, BMS Monitoring (Building Management System) plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of our Clean and Packaging facility, which operates in Class 7 and 8 Clean Room environments. Our BMS is an advanced, integrated platform that continuously monitors and controls key environmental parameters—including temperature, humidity, pressure differentials, and HVAC system performance—to ensure compliance with stringent regulatory standards required for the manufacture of medical instruments and implants. This real-time monitoring capability helps safeguard product quality, maintain cleanroom classifications, and support a controlled manufacturing environment that aligns with our commitment to precision, safety, and patient well-being. Our department managers live within 5 minutes of our facility with 24/7 live monitoring to be able to respond to any deviation from required parameters and maintain our controls.
The new Batu Kawan Clean & Pack facility has two (2) ISO 7 Class 10K clean rooms with a total of 5,000 square feet.
When fully equipped, the new Clean & Pack at Batu Kawan will have a greater capacity of more than 20M packaged products.
